Born in 1985, Daddy Abe was raised as a musician. Lyrics became his main passion at the age of fourteen. He spent many years MCing in secular circles, and performing under different names. In 2011 it was prophesied to him that he would use his skills to share the Gospel. Before long he had stopped writing ungodly songs, and poured himself into a solo Holy Hiphop project!

The name "Daddy Abe" is derived from Abraham, the "father of faith." The book of Galatians tells us that the Gospel was preached in advance to Abraham. This is because righteousness was imputed unto him on account of his faith alone. Daddy Abe's core message is of the glorious grace of God, and of the freedom found in God's righteousness, which is given to us as a free gift.
