About Chris Theodat
John 15:18-19
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
These are the words that define the music, ministry and life of Chris Theodat. From childhood, Chris knew that he was different from his peers. After years of unsuccessfully trying to fit in, he decided to walk in the calling God had for his life.
Having a heart for his city, Chris Theodat is known for producing music that opens eyes, ears, and hearts to the gospel of Jesus Christ while helping to unify his generation and lead them to salvation. From his beats to his flow, all elements of Chris’ styles are used to display and demonstrate the love of God.
With Chris' latest project, The Revolutionary Ep, he touches on issues that hit close to home. The Revolutionary EP delves in to the social justice issues plaguing America and the church. Is America really free? Are black men targeted unfairly? Is the church too soft? Has the church lost its influence? Who represents the black voice? Who are our leaders? Every song addresses important questions about our societal and spiritual shortcomings. The point of the EP is not to place blame on any one group of people, but to distribute responsibility among people of all cultures and walks of life.
